We were commissioned to project manage the TEDx NewSt event that took place in October 2010. To fund our overhead costs and other direct costs to run the event we confirmed funding from an advertising industry who wanted to use the event to meet and host clients within the target audience. We secured a free venue and catering from Deloitte. One of the commissioning partners built the website and Haymarket used our relevant industry magazines, websites, social media networks and data to promote the event.People applied to attend in their masses (the event was 400% oversubscribed) and the day was a phenomenal success with great feedback.
